Giving Back Where It Matters — With Our Hearts and Our Hands
Creating strong communities requires more than helping to build solid foundations for our nation’s infrastructure – that’s why we give back in the communities where we work. Castle Contracting collaborates with parent company, McCarthy Holdings, Inc., to give back to the community through the Heart Hats initiative. Together, we get involved in community service projects, from raising money for local causes to rolling up our sleeves and putting in the work to build vibrant community spaces.
The beauty of our Heart Hats activities is that they bring people together — so our communities can focus on the common goal of raising awareness, raising spirits and raising funds to help those in need.
For example, every five years since 2011, Castle has played a large part in the Flags of Valor event on Art Hill in Forest Park located in St. Louis, Missouri. The team has helped with logistics, labor and the installation of more than 7,000 American flags. The memorial honors the victims and first responders who lost their lives in the attacks on September 11, 2001 as well as those service members who have fallen in the War on Terror since that day.
