This $2 million civil design and construction project delivered site improvements for a 370,511-square-foot Bass Pro Shop within the Shoppes at Sunset Hills Plaza. As the project progressed, the City of Sunset Hills Board of Aldermen mandated enhanced access to Watson Road and Lindbergh Boulevard. Castle collaborated with MoDOT to design and construct upgrades at the Watson Road entrance, nearby intersection, and on-ramp, as well as modifications to access points and parking to enhance the Lindbergh Boulevard entrance.  

Castle also coordinated with fire, water, and electrical contractors to ensure compliance with building and lighting standards for Sunset Hills and St. Louis County. The scope included removal of fencing and landscape boulders, and installation of bioretention basins, StormTech underground detention systems, and storm piping.
